Nancy Tabs, LCSW

Nancy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of NJ as well as a Certified School Social Worker. She graduated from University of Michigan with a degree in Psychology and Communication and then went on to receive her MSW from Hunter College School of Social Work. Nancy has over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents and families in a variety of settings, including foster care, private practice, schools and as a practitioner in NJ Early Intervention System. She works eclectically to suit the needs of the individual. Modalities used in treatment may include play therapy, CBT, psychodynamic therapy, family therapy, social emotional learning, and mindfulness-based interventions. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD-related challenges, trauma, and behavioral disruptions. Nancy believes that everyone should have a safe and healing place to work through life's difficulties. Her goal is to help children reach their highest potential and to help families live more harmonious and happier lives together.
